Custom Rotomolding of Plastic Speaker Enclosures Are In Production At Light Venus

Light Venus is contracted by a customer in the audio industry to fabricate plastic speaker enclosure, which requires precision in production and fast delivery. This is what Light Venus excels in.

Customer did some research online and reached out to us for this project. After a virtual factory tour via Microsoft Teams meeting, customer is satisfied with our facilities and quick correspondence. Light Venus is chose as their manufacturing partner.

Instead of injection molding, we use the rotational molding because of its significant advantages.

• Rotomolding tools are relatively cheaper, the mould cost is 10% to 20% of the injection molding  Wall thickness distribution is more uniform and with rotomolding
• Size can be easily and precisely control
• One-piece construction that is airtight and watertight

The material choice is the high density polyethylene(HDPE) with the flowing features

• Light weight, yet durable
• Impact resistance
• Flame retardant
• Temperature stability
• Chemical resistance
• Colour, UV stability and durability.

Our development team work closely with the custom from 3D drawing, tooling making, prototype sample, and PPAP.  Customer is pleased with the final product and now bulk production is in launch. The processes meet the rigorous standards as set ISO 9001
